I'm not sure where to even start to look this up, or I would.

I'm using Staroffice 5.2 on Windows 98. I am editing a document I have
been given, and I can't get rid of the words "Appendix A" at the top of a
page, it's driving me nuts. It seems "obvious" that this must be a
feature of this "section" of the document (not necessarily the correct
terms from staroffice's point of view) but I can't for the life of me
were where or how this is controlled.

I have reduced the document to two pages that show the problem, and I'm
hoping that someone will be kind enough to examine it and explain to me
why/how the words "Appendix A" appear at the top of the second page, and
how to get rid of them, while retaining the rest of the document.

Feedback appreciated, thanks, or suggestion of any good read that would
explain what is going on here.

Thanks.

Tools->Outline Numbering
Tab: Numbering
Select "7" on the left
See the text in the box "Before"?

You can also see the effect in the preview box. Either clean up the
headings or change the style of the paragraph that is "Heading 7" to
something that is plain.
