Hello,

I am trying to move from MS-WORD to swriter, but have troubles with
disfigured headers from MS-WORD templates. Are there any tips & tricks
web-pages on converting MS-WORD templates?

Regards,

Walter

Hello Walter,

there are limitations migrating MS-Office documents/templates to
StarOffice or OpenOffice.org - especially with objects from WordArt and
macros. I'm afraid you must re-format some MS templates just as I had
to. In my case, a WordArt object caused problems and had to be removed.

You may want to read

This is a White Paper of 33 pages (498 KB) providing useful information
for home users, too.

Greetings from Germany to NL,

Thanks for the link. In the meantime I have found that part of my troubles
are caused by macros as well :-(
