Scheduler - sends Reminders @ wrong time

SO 5.2, Red Hat 7.2
I've scheduled email reminders at various times before an event @ 3:00 pm: 1 hour before, 3 hours before, etc. However, I keep getting reminders at odd times like 8:00 am. Any idea why these reminders aren't being sent at the proper "before" interval?? TIA.

Check the time zone for your scheduler: Under the Explorer, RMB click on
Tasks & Events | Properties | Settings. I found that the default time
zone for a schedule server was somewhere in Germany and resulted in an
offset like the one you are experiencing.
