Hello,

Is it possible to import a calendar from Sun's dtcm calendar manager
into starschedule (on a solaris machine)? I've searched the archives of
this group and found the question asked a couple of times, but no clear
answer.

Thanks,

Stephen Isard

Hi Stephen,

Can you please tell us which Operating System are you using?

Which version of StarOffice are you using?

Hope this helps.

Hi Stephen,

The only way to import data from dtcm to StarSchedule is by importing them the normal way - Import the data in a format which StarSchedule recognises.

If I knew how to do that I would have done it :-)

How do I get my dtcm data to a format that StarSchedule recognises?
Since dtcm and StarSchedule are both Sun products, there ought to be
someone at Sun who knows. I'd be very grateful if you would ask that
person for me.

Hi Stephen,

This is the information I got regarding your query;

Accepting data from "dtcm" is not possible. This data exists in a format which StarOffice cannot import. You might try exporting the data in the vCalendar format. This can be imported by StarOffice via the menu "File - Import" if you have opened a calendar view.

Ok, that's progress of a sort. So how do I go about exporting from dtcm
in vCalendar format?

Hi Sanal,

"The week after that" is now last week. Any news?

Hi Sanal,

It's been more than 6 weeks now. Did your meeting take place? What was
the outcome?
