<< "I would like to know whether there is any converter in Staroffice
writer. Example my friend did email me Lotus WordPro. How am I going to
read the file in StarWriter?" >>
In answer to your question, for files in the Lotus format, there is
currently only one default import filter located in the "Open" dialog
(menu "File - Open"). Files with the formats "Ami Pro 3.1 and older",
"*.wk1 (DOS)" and "*.wks (DOS)" can be opened with this format.; there
isn't an import filter for WordPro files in the current version of
StarOffice.
Although we are aware of this problem, which has been forwarded to our
Development department as a feature enhancement request, we currently
cannot determine if or when this will be implemented.
