Hello

I have Star Office 6.0 installed on a backend nfs server running RedHat8.0. If I start SO and create a file and save it to an nfs share it saves it as Jeff.Jeff 664 (owner=Jeff, group=Jeff, -rw-rw-r--)

If my wife opens SO with her computer and then opens the same file (she can do this because she is also in group Jeff) and then modifies and saves it it then saves as janine.janine 644 (owner=janine, group=janine, -rw-r--r--)

This now blocks me out from any further revisions unless i go to the nfs server, log on as root and chmod/chown the file back. (what a pain!)

Why does SO change the properites of the file and how can I make it stop? the file needs to remain Jeff.Jeff 664 so we can both always get ahold of it for editing.
