Dear all users,

I'm looking for the windows 9x odbc driver for the adabas d database
version 11.
This was shipped with the orginal sun Star Office 5.2 CD. I can't find
any pages to download the odbc driver.

Please help.

Best regards

Gerhard

Hy Gerhard,

if you want to create a new Adabas 11D database( this is the version
which is included in the StarOffice 5.2 packet), you don't need a ODBC
driver.
You only need the ODBC or JDBC driver to connect to an existing database
, e.g. Oracle.
The Adabas database can be found on the StarOffice CD in the directory
of the used operating system (e.g., "windows/adabas"). Please read the
important installation information found in the Readme file before
installing the database on your system.

If you have downloaded StarOffice from the Internet, you can also
download the Adabas database from the same location.

Please note:
There is no Adabas database available for Solaris x86, because the third
party vendor has not developed such a version.

Hi Lars,

you are right, but I'll try to connect Adabas 11D from another
Software like Java.

Regards

Gerhard
