I stopped playing with StarOffice 5.2 after a few weeks last year
because it did not have a filter for Framework [a former
Ashton-Tate/Borland product].

I am ready to try StarOffice 5.2 again.

I did not separetly instrall Adabas but was able to create a database
of names and address and sort them, etc. Was that STARBASE?

Thanks

please reply here.

Not exactly a swarm of replies.

I'm new to star office 8 and decided to try my luck here. Looks like this
isn't, shall we say, lively?

Go to openoffice.org and poke around until you find the page to
subscribe to the e-lists. Lots of activity.

thats true ;-)
today I take a look in my postbox and I'm wondering, some mails in this
group.

For the Base-Modul (the HSQL-databse in StarOffice/OpenOffice.org) you
should use the newsgroups:
gmane.comp.openoffice.dba.devel
or
gmane.comp.openoffice.dba.user
too. A lot of activities about the dba (database-application)

regards from Germany
Axel
