No printer features when setting up HP printer using PPD driver and spadmin

Hi all! I haven't found any information about this issue anywhere in the FAQs, forums, of knowledgebase, so I really hope someone can help me with this.

We have Staroffice 6.0 installed on a Solaris 9 platform. The latest service pack for Staroffice and Recommended patch cluster for Solaris have both been applied.

I had set up our HP Laserjet 8550 DN printer succesfully under staroffice 5.2 on a Solaris 8 system using the PPD file supplied by HP (attached).

When I import the driver using spadmin and configure the printer's features, the advanced facilities of the printer are not shown. For example, when a user tries to print, they are unable to select a tray other than Tray1 or <ignore>. They also aren't able to print using duplex.

Secondly, I am unable to disable banner pages.

I would really aprecaite some assistance. Let me know if I can provide any more information.
