I have installed StarOffice 6.0 network version on a V880 server, under Solaris 9. After the network installation, I noticed that every user before starting to use Star Office is prompted to do the workstation installation which will copy some the StarOffice files in the user's home directory. Now, for some reason (?) the registration page pops up every time a user logs in, despite the thing that the registration dialog has been permanently disabled (I have modified the registration entries in Common.xml file in /StarOffice6.0/share/config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/ directory). Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Ramona,

did you edit common.xml prior to installing for every user or not until
after the user installs had been performed?

I'm asking because every user has this file in his home directoy, so if
you edit it _before_ performing the user installs, every user will get
the same file. If not, you will have to edit it for each and every user.

Please note, though, that it is recommended to edit jobs.xml in the same
dir to do these kind of changes.
