StarOffice 5.2 core dump

Hello,

I am trying to install StarOffice 5.2 onto my RedHat 8.0 system. The
installation, run with the /net option under root, seems to work fine,
but when I try to run the program as a user, it aborts and dumps a
core.

Can anyone help?

Why?

(6.0 or 7.0 instead, perhaps?)
