I hope this is an appropriate group to ask this question.

I am working with a Linux Mandrake 9.2 installation. I upgraded to
OpenOffice 1.1.0. It seemed to install just fine, but after I reboot
the system, OO won't start without running the installation program
again (and again, and again).

I've tried both remote and workstation installs and it makes no
difference. How can I get OpenOffice 1.1.0 to install and stay installed?

TIA.

I am experiencing the same problem with OO 1.1 (network install) and
Mandrake 9.1. However it happens when the user is logged off/on his or
her account....my pc's rarely get rebooted.

I have seen some posts in the OO mailing list, but nothing concrete that
points to a resolution.
