Star office problem

We have SO 5.2 in our organisation and we decided to install the
soffice with -net on two machines under /export/software/office52 and
then mount on all machines at /software/office52 on all our machines.
Then install the user component by using setup from
/software/office52/program/setup.
There are some users on the machine which exports office52 and it also
automount it on /software/office52. Whenever these users tries to start
soffice, they get a error that soffice was unable to find .sversionrc
in their home directory or it might have not get executed.

But the problem goes if we mount /software/office52 from another
machine.

Here is the example:

Suppose we have user A, B on machine alpha, user C on machine parrot
and no user on machine elephant

We installed staroffice on machines alpha and elephant at
/export/software/office52 and we have a direct map entry on all our
machines as
/software/office52 -ro alpha:/export/software/office52 \

elephant:/export/software/office52

SO works fine for users on machine parrot
But when users A and B access soffice, /software/soffice gets mounted
from /export/software/office52 from alpha as users are on the same
machine, they get the above error.
But if i remove the entry of alpha from auto_direct, then office52 gets
mounted from elephant and it works fine.

Does soffice has a problem if it gets mounted from same machine? Or is
there some difference in Automount process that is causing the problem.
