Linked-in driver

Hello everyone,

I have created a branch to incorporate support for a linked-in driver.
It uses the Dryverl project to generate the encoding/decoding methods.
I should have a version with complete functionality in the next day or
so. When I'm at least marginally satisfied with the tests, I'll work
on integrating it into starling_app and merge the resulting code. My
current thinking is that some users may want to opt-out of the linked-
in driver for stability reasons. I haven't thought too much yet about
how to structure it so that they could choose which implementation to
use.
