It seems that Acrobat, Flash, antialiaised fonts, last-version Java and
video formats are not an issue to the eCS user, and that Smartsuite can
now be left to die a deserved death both on the Windows *and* the OS/2
platform, thank to the eventual extension of Open Office as an
all-platform-ecompassing standard to the latter.

What's so new and exciting? Not much, everybody else has those things,
as they have Mozilla and Opera and multimedia and (some) DOS support;
and the eCS-OS/2 versions do not shine for their radically different
interface or features...

On the other hand, not that there remain many reasons to switch away for
the average Joe User, which can still squeeze some more juice from his
old hardware than he would get by installing the last MS thing.
