Hi,

This question has probably been answered on here but I couldn't find it. I
tried registering the game via the link from the program's menu, but that
didn't work. I also went to the address in the manual, but that site doesn't
even have the game listed. I have a feeling that I have a very old version
of this game. On the contents page of the manual, at the bottom of the page,
it says, "Visit www.talonsoft.com/register/take2.html" No such site...

So, how do I register this product and upgrade it?

Thanks,
Lon

If you have a valid serial number, try downloading Stardock Central from
http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral20.exe, start it up,
fill in any info related to a Stardock.net account (same as on
wincustomize.com or drengin.net/totalgaming.com, if you need one just
register it for free as directed), then once it's "up", double-click
registration info, Games, Product: The Corporate Machine, enter email
and serial key, click Register, hopefully it says you're valid, click
OK, select Games and click Install by The Corporate Machine to download
the latest version. :-)

Hello,

Your post refers to a "valid serial number." I hate to sound stupid, but
where do I locate this number on my version 1.1 installation? I see no place
on the startup screen that provides this information. There is no such
number on the disk, its case, nor the manual.

Then that's an interesting question. Personally, I'd contact
sup...@stardock.com and ask them the same thing - I've not seen a
retail box/cd. :-)
