opening office 97 documents with star office during startup

Hi all,
is it possible to open office 97 mail-attachments immediatly after
clicking on the link of them in a netscape mail client.
The system is windows 95 or windows nt.
I know that star office is generally opening msoffice documents giving
it the filename as a parameter. That works fine but the problem
discussed above didn't work.
Has anybody the solution.
