Hi Julio,
Just for the records:
The request has been answered in your previous thread.

Hi Falko

Thanks for the answers. But have to insist...

I've already find an intro to macros but searching manually. The
»magnifying glass« is always disabled on both english and portuguese
versions. A BUG :-(

Nope. Star Basic Info is a ghost.

We all expect that. But F1 over a selected "if" or "Selection()" only
opens the "User's Guide". There, we navigate with no Find function
('magnifying glass' always disabled) but no SBasic reference. I've
checked the procedure installation -- it really says Star Basic 2697 Kb
(+or-), but nothing happens. The same on portuguese and english versions
with full installation. I'd started to believe that macros were only key
& mouse stroke records. Made an experiment: recorded something, gone
into Macros screen and wrote:

if 2=1+1
----
---- strokes previously recorded
----
end if

and he asked me for the forgotten "then". wrote it and job done!
Now I know: there is a Star Basic & an annoying BUG: no user reference
:-((
Hope some help... this is tantalizing.

Give me an email address I'll be glad to report the portuguese errors I
found. Maybe 4.01 will have better portuguese.

Hey Falko! Don't be mad but your argument makes a !:-O guy
HTML don't support pages -- but SO4.0 does! When editing an HTML
document if you do:
-- click on "print layout" icon.
-- View > Zoom > 50%
you will se the page exactly like it will be printed
(of course!), but furthermore to the point:
-- go into File > Print > Properties > Paper
---------- turn paper to landscape
-- on File > Print > Options
---------- choose brochure
-- print
and you will have, on the same sheet, landscaped pages 4 and 1,
after 2 and 3, 8-5, and so on.
It seems good. What's the problem?
SO.40 will print all this at once. It's lacking the option to
print left pages first, and after we reinsert paper upside down, the
right pages as it does with normal docs.
I think this is related with printer program modules and not with the
document format. In fact, If I want 2 copies of the same HTML book the
job will be done! And I'm thinking that with a macro I could manage
that... Only need a refrence guide... lost on some distant galaxy...
As I said on the previous post -- there are many online books on www.
Please let us print them like books on Star Office 4.01 Service Pack X!

Thanks. Sorry for the long post but I like Star Office 4.00 OEM but need
Star Basic to fully adopt it. And it seems very close.

Thanks again
Julio
