Some final questions

Hi!

I've been trying SO 4.0 OEM portuguese version. No lockups, only a few &
no dramatic errors. I like most of his features. It seems promising but.
Great BUT. I think I've to give up.
Major reason: in this version of the product we find help files for
StarBasic only in german! The help system is buggy: using star office
under normal circunstances the « help magnifying glass » his always
deactivated, so no searches is possible -- I've tried both portuguese &
english version. This bug is almost ridiculos -- if we do
Open > Office0 > Help > 03 and click on any *.svh file an help file is
open and the search function is availble! So a non basic user can live
with this. But if you search for help on StarBasic commands, functions,
methods you found them ... in german. Nothing more. I think this only
happens on OEM version because I didn't see complaints of linux & beta
users. And even Falko was anware of this bug.
But I still could live with that if StarDivision provides any link to
the vanished help files.
But I'm convinced that Star Division is dropping non german versions.
Look at that home page? an old forgeted nonsensical 1997 page... Look at
the answers on the groups... gest wait a few days... after uninstal
it... nice to meet you... no flame ...I've enjoyed the moment... it's
written: XXI is a micro$oft thing... take a beer
