When I started getting into PC games in middle school, my game of choice was Starcraft. This was a real time strategy (RTS) game pitting the human Terran, futuristic Protoss and hive-mind Zerg against each other in an intergalactic tug of war. My friends and I quickly learned the advantages of each race and battled each other for bragging rights.
Avid gamers, they held planning meetings for Cafe.gg on League of Legends, but that devolved into hours of gaming without any work getting done, so they switched to Skype. Now they hang out at the cafe or next door at Izakaya Naru on Tuesday nights having pupus and beers.

Pathos & Logos, comprised of Kyle Neeley on guitar and Paul Christiansen on drums, was formed in 2018 out of the ashes of a former project, seeking new frontiers of creativity and expression. Beginning as a studio project, the band rapidly phased into a live phenomenon with an eye towards a future that suited their myriad needs. Pushing the boundaries of rhythm, intensity and musicality, Pathos & Logos has even dissolved the dividing line between Art and spirituality in a tantalizing blend of ritual and sound that is one of a kind. Deftly moving along the gradient of light and dark energies moment by moment, they are often compared to Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders and Polyphia

This free festival promises to immerse visitors in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Serbia. Throughout the day, Farther Russell Radoicich offers tours of the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, a cultural gem of Montana adorned with stunning iconography on its walls and ceilings.
Make sure to arrive hungry, as a wide array of home-cooked Serbian dishes awaits you! If you've never experienced Serbian cuisine, you're in for a treat with specialties like sarma, kielbasa, povitica, barbecued lamb, and pork, topped off with delicious baklava for dessert. You'll leave not just with a satisfied stomach, but also with cherished memories and perhaps even new friends.

In the late 1800s, Butte's population swelled to about 100,000, with 20,000 Serbian miners among them. In 1897, these miners brought Father Sebastian Dobovich to Butte, marking the beginnings of the Serbian Orthodox Christian community here. Father Dobovich is now revered as a saint among Orthodox Christians.
Today, at Serb Fest, Saint Sebastian's legacy lives on through his descendants who continue to honor their cultural heritage. While Serbian may not be spoken widely at the festival, traditions passed down through generations remain steadfast. The Serbian cuisine you'll enjoy likely comes from cherished family recipes.
What has over 30 albums, a Grammy Nomination, multiple \"Best Musician\" awards from the Missoula Independent, a USA Songwriter Grand Prize and a Northwest Emmy Award? The combination of singer songwriters Susan Gibson, Tom Catmull, Jenn Adams and John Floridis.
These four singer songwriters began their careers in Missoula, Montana in the early and mid 1990's at the dawn of the movement toward independently produced CD's and recordings. Though they've all pursued their paths individually, they've frequently shared billing with one another, recorded together and even occasionally played in each other's bands. In 2012 they joined each other on stage for the first time. The joy they experienced performing together and the deeply warm reception they received from audiences encouraged them to make it a yearly event.
One of the true highlights of the evening is the showcase of these artists in a true \"listening\"\nenvironment as opposed to a festival, club or even tap room environment. Every slight inflection of the artist's singing, every every subtlety of their guitar playing and musicianship and every nuance of finely honed lyric comes forward in a setting like this where the dynamics of a solo performance take on even greater depth.
