Although it is not a good idea to rush and install a new feature update as soon as it becomes available to avoid potential bugs and other problems during the early days, you can upgrade manually in at least three ways using the different tools and Windows Update. You can even upgrade early using the Windows Insider Program.

Since the computers are Windows 11 ready, as soon as you have finished installing Windows 10 22h2 and rebooted use your preferred method to make sure Windows 11 is not offered. I would use GRC InControl.
If you use this configuration, as users upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 they will no longer be able to authenticate to the network "at login" (as in automatically - single sign-on). If enabled, users will still have the ability to click on the connection concerned and manually re-authenticate - but this breaks the whole user experience of seamless connectivity.
We were able to get the new 22H2 laptops to automatically connect by first disabling Windows Defender Credential Guard using the registry key method found in this MS doc, and then manually enabling NTLMv2 authentication by adding the registry key found in this MS doc. Hope this helps somebody else like me who hasn't fully implemented certificate-based authentication and was caught off guard by this change.

Correct you still can get to the screen by typing it in the search bar on the left once in settings. I just happen to point him to the options to click on without any typing. The last part though was changed where you now need to click add device and wait a moment for the add manually option to show in order to get the device options screen to populate allowing to add by IP address, hostname, bluetooth, etc when doing a fresh device/printer setup from within Windows 11 22H2.
saw this report on Neowin that a few people got offered the Win11 22H2 feature update, even on "unsupported" PCs:www.neowin.net/news/people-on-unsupported-hardware-are-being-offered-windows-11-22h2-upgrade/
but that was short lived as Microsoft eventually stopped offering 22H2 to non-supported systems
