So I just got the controller today and I installed all of the needed drivers and software from the Native Instruments programs and website. Then I plugged in my controller and it worked for around 3 seconds then wit just stopped. The hardware itself still works as far as I can tell, no lights are on except for a flashing usb icon so I think that means that it works, also it does the animation on the controller itself when I turn it io. But in windows, when I plug in the device it is not detected. Traktor Pro 2 also does not detect it and I have no idea what to do. Any help is much appreciated.
Sounds pretty good right? Enough to play music with Traktor. Anyway, while i'm playing I hear constantly cracking sounds throught my speakers. Sounds a little bit like you play some vinyl record but in a bad way. Hard to explain exactly. Also on my headphone I hear this ofcourse.
I try on different speakers as well, different traktor tables, replace cables, and tried on different locations, but all the same.
However, with my old windows laptop which got less of all the specs I don't have this problem.
Both laptops got a 3.0 usb port. I tried with 2.0 and 3.0 USB hub with own power supply but didn't work.
I tried many things, set-up everything as good as possible people and NI wrote on internet for your laptop settings. Sometimes the cracking sounds was loud and other times less. But I could't tell on which moments.
This problem many people had and for some people it was super easy to solve, others never found the solution..
So i'm sure it has to do something with this laptop. Some settings, or something else I didn't find yet. Maybe here someone got a new solution for me and ofcourse for many others.
Greetings,
Koen
After searching and trying many things I was getting so tired of this problem. Because it shouldn't be such a big issue. Specially not something that I have to change deeply in the windows system to solve a latency problem on a super new model.
