Question: Dear Marilyn, Another element of halal is on the use of alcohol in food preparation / cooking or the presence of alcohol in the ingredient use such as sauces etc. Can you tell me whether Sushi King use alcohol or use materials (such as sauces) that content alcohol? Answer: Dear Mr. Abdul Rahman Omar, Thank you for your email. For your information, we are not a Halal restaurant as we do not have certification from JAKIM, but we only can claim us as Pork free. All our meat based products like chicken and beef are Halal Certified and we do not use any pork or pork derivatives in our restaurant. Sushi King is not certified ‘Halal’. This is due to some of our food contains ‘Mirin’. Mirin is derived from fermentation of rice and it is commonly used in Japanese cooking to enhance the taste of food. Following are products that contains Mirin: 1. Unagi Kabayaki 2. Unagi Slice 3. Karei Nitsuke 4. Saba Misoni 5. Mamakari 6. Ikura On top of that, some of our restaurants do sell beer However, our meat materials such as chicken, beef and seafood are from Halal Certified source. Hope this clarifies your concern. Thank you. bagus sushi king sebab jawapan yg jelas

 

tapi soalan halal ke dok kena tanya pihak berkuasa bukan tanya restoran, tanya hok wak tubik sijil halal baru boleh wak panduan.

 

bagi aku fermantation dok semestinya terus haram, kita pung ada makanan hok fermented supa tapei, air tuok, budu dan ada lagi se dua

 

alkohol pung banyok jenis, ethanol, methanol sukarno

 

aku rasa ada panduan dari jakim tentang peratusan alkohol yg menjadikan sesuatu itu haram, sapa hok rajin boleh cek dan kabo ke kawang kawang

 

islam ni mudoh tapi orang islam hok wak payoh, contoh nya balik raya bulan puasa, ramai puasa dlm perjalanan walu a pun boleh tok posa sebab musafir

 

sebab nya kita dok rasa dgn berpuasa dlm perjalanan kita sacrifice to Allah but Allah dok mitok pengorbanan atas benda yg diberi kelonggaran.

Salam Abang Jenal,

 

Maaf la deh ambe nok komen sket bab puasa ning, ambe pong dok berapa pandai sangat, Cuma sekado nok berkongsi ilmu...

Kata ustazah2 ambe (2 org ustazah ) Kalu puasa bulan Ramadhan, memang dok leh tinggal sewenang2nya, waima kita dalam musafir pong.

Kecuali jika boleh mendatangkan mudharat (sakit dsbnya) atau uzur bagi perempuan, Sebab ada hadis mengatakan betapa kita

diWAJIBKAN berpuasa dalam bulan Ramadhan , kalu kita sengeleng tinggal Puasa Ramadhan tanpa sebarang sebab kemudharatan

Allah dok akan terima puasa ganti kita sbb tinggal puasa Ramadhan.  Ustazah2 ambe amat2 menekankan Jangan sewenang2nya

tinggal puasa bulan Ramadhan.  Wallahua’lam....
