Hi everyone,

This is a message from the Diocese and we will keep you updated as we receive updates.

Subject: What to expect: Resuming the celebration of Mass with a congregation present

 

Good afternoon.

 

Bishop Bill has been meeting with a task force, which includes physicians, priests, a deacon and laypeople. They have been advising him on the steps that need to be taken in order to reopen our churches to celebrate Mass with a congregation present. Bishop Bill plans to make an announcement soon.

 

This afternoon we posted information on the diocesan website that outlines some of these issues and concerns in regards to reopening our churches. We will be posting this information on our social media platforms at 5 p.m. CT today. Tomorrow, Bishop Bill will address the diocese in a similar video message. I will email you the video link once it's published.
