Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5' banner could finish with a 2.5" variance). If your banner needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.
By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2", 3" or 4". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.
All banners must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept checks, which must be received before your order is put into production. For more information on check orders, see this article on our blog.
After products have been shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the banner cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package.

This DIY project comes to us today from Rachael over at Nerdy & Hip a fun blog and shop that I know all you rustic brides will want to check out.
First, you need letters, I opted to print out some large letters and played around for awhile until I found the right font, which, for me was Poor Richard. All the letters you need for this Mr. & Mrs. project, are M, R, S and the & symbol. I reused the M and R twice, but you could get these extras if you prefer to not to reuse them. Using an X-ACTO knife, I cut out the letters.
My husband and I are going to be eating our wedding dinner at a six-foot-long table, and my plan is to have the banner hanging in front, so I ended up cutting my burlap squares about 10 x 10. For this Mr. & Mrs. sign, you will need 6 squares. Feel free to adjust the size for your own banner! Also, I used the standard/natural burlap, but I am SO loving white burlap these days, and would encourage experimentation with other shades of this natural material as well!

To determine the length of the banner, I first layed the string the length of the fireplace mantle. Attaching it at one end, I then let it droop to create a swag effect, and added that to string length. Lastly, I added about 16 inches to allow for making loops at each end to hang the finished banner.

Kim, I was surprised what a big hit the seating chart was, and how many guests posed for pix next to it. None of them knew then it was a reused bulletin board lol!
