Hieveryone, I made the mistake of buying this total crap that is the media gt v8 uhd to test the mars server, now I would like to put the original firmware back but like everything on this crap it's complicated. ...can someone give me a little tutorial on the method and the necessary wiring, thank you....

Hi friend, I think that already, it's not good to go from enigma 2 with all its possibilities to a low-end and closed Chinese device....Then the firmware for the mars server is completely useless, you have to type a password for all access, you can't make a list of favorites or you have to take out the can of sedative, the image is overall passable, it is full of bugs, at one point, just because I had put a few too many channels on for him, he rebooted non-stop after a minute, having to reflash it....no, frankly, move on with his devices, it's just good for the trash.....and the Mars server is not bad but in a lousy device you can't do anything with it....

I dont know where did you bought v8uhd for 40 euros, because now It is almost 100e with shipping in Eu, plus 30-40e for mars. For that money you can buy e2 hardware beast in comparison of this chunga lunga box.

Yes it's clear, it's a guy who works for GTmedia because to say good things about a device like that, he really doesn't know anything about it and the price as Njofrica says is completely wrong, find it for 40 euros.....

Just V8X with V1.00 HW version is supported for Forever IKS. And the device with HW 0.1 is currently not supported for Forever IKS.

And flashing this new firmware just makes your V1.00 HW V8X available for Forever IKS function, and it does not include any service. And if it is SOLOVOX 9000, it includes 15 Months of Forever IKS service by default.

About Forever IKS for HW 0.1 V8X, to be frank, we currently have no definite date.

Hola,tengo un gtmedia v8x con la versin v.1.0, y funcionando con el firmware cajacam hasta mayo de 2023.

Si actualizo con el Forever iks,me servir el cdigo de cajacam? O espero a terminar la suscripcion para actualizar aForever iks? Gracias.

I just bought a gtmedia V8 UHD and need wla firmware update with North American channels and that will allow me to enter an iks server, port and names. I bought this hoping it would replace my Dreamlink T5, which died. Can anyone help?

? Gracias al compaero RJG?? por probarlo y comunicarlo. Aadir que si disponis del cable RS232 tenis posibilidad de instalar directamente el firmware ECAM desde X8 de origen, os ahorris un paso (instalar el V400 Mod) pero como digo, solo si tenis el cable que sepis que tenis esa posibilidad.

Different types of sat finders are available with different features and specifications. both Analog and Digital finders are available. Basically, a satellite finder meter is a full digital satellite receiver with a compact-size battery power and a small LCD display screen that is compatible with all frequency band LNBs.

A Dump file or Flash file is a boot information data with software/program of a satellite meter which is located at EEPROM or Flash IC or Memory IC of the satellite meter finder. The main processor/Microcontroller retrieves the information from memory ic when it is powered on to know how to get the job done.

If the Flash IC/Memory IC is damaged for some reason or Its program/firmware corrupts due to any reason then the Main controller does not get any boot/basic information and the satellite finder meter does not turn on. In this situation, we need to reprogram the flash ic with the matched hardware dump/flash file to get the satellite finder meter in working condition. For flash files of the receiver visit here.
