Pathways Analysis
( IPA ) is a powerful tool
for understanding microarray and proteomic data sets, as well as for the robust
querying of biomedical knowledge.
This
tutorial is intended for life scientists who are new to IPA or
are envisioning applying it to their data.
What: Introduction
to basic and intermediate IPA functionality:
1. uploading user data such as microarray measurements.
2. creating and interpreting gene/protein networks based on those measurements.
3. running comparison analyses.
4. overlaying drug, expression data, functional and disease information, as well as pathway membership
5. searching for gene/protein function, drug data and disease information.
Format :
lecture with some hands-on exercises ( full syllabus )
Instructor :
Ingenuity trainer
