Hey guys thank you so much for this great app and ZWO products!
I have the the AM5 mount and ASIair plus it's so fun to use and easy like 1 2 3!
I love my laptop windows 11 and I have everything for astronomy on it.
Is there any plan to release ASIair plus software for windows 11?
Like you download and install like ASIstudio?

I just purchases two five packs for the Riing Plus RGB Premium 12's and 14's. I loaded the software today and for the life of me I can't fix why it won't start in windows. I did the right click on the tray icon and blackened the run with windows starts up selection. The problem is it won't start with windows but will start if I click the icon. I tried moving the icon to the startup folder and no luck their either.

What I've done so far: Updated Firmware to latest on ReadyNAS. Updated Windows to latest. Check these message boards alot and followed a number of the suggestions there for security settings and other actions. Stopped and restarted the "Standard File Protocals" - CIFS, NFS, AFP and FTP (covering all bases!). Used the ReadyNAS system to reset the folders and files security values and checked the "Shares" settings for each protocal. Searched the web for notes about the windows error code and other boards as much as I can.

I should also add that when I go to mount the drive I get the error that share requires the outdated SMB1 protocal! Then goes on to say that system requires SMB2. I have done a little search on that and tried using windows pointshell and

You should go into the windows credential manager, and enter a "windows credential" for the NAS (using the nas address, username, and password that you just used on the command line). That should make it easier the next time you reboot (windows will automatically use that credential for the NAS in the future).

To ensure CoreGuard Plus effectiveness, sections of our windows undergo harsh testing in a Hawaiian rainforest that mimics decades of typical residential exposure. No wonder we have the confidence to offer one of the strongest wood rot warranties in the industry.

So it turns out NDS Adapter plus works with Windows 8 & 8.1 on any variant that runs on 32bit version. No driver modifications or disabling driver verification enforcement, it runs out of the box. But I can't get it to run on 64bit mode though, So i had to run a dual boot with 64 bit mode as my primary and 32 bit just for my NDS adapter. So if you can get a 32bit mode of windows that would be your best bet. Let me know if you have any questions.

@lcrusoe I found a workaround for this. My laptop is running windows Vista and I had the same issue. What you need to do is right click on the setup.exe and hit properties. Then, you need to go to the compatibility tab. Then, "enable compatibility mode", and select "windows XP SP2", and also "run as administrator". Then, it should be able to install as normal. Hope this helps!

I have CCS4 on one computer with Win7/64 and it works fine. I uninstalled the CCS4 and installed the CCS5. Nut when I pulg the XDS510 USB Plus, windows can not find teh driver! I try to manually update the driver from "C:\Program Files (x86)\SpectrumDigital\Emulation\Drivers\i386" and "C:\TI\ccsv5\ccs_base\emulation\specdig" but failed! Windows just say there is no driver for it.

I have checked Samsung's website and they have an exe file download for installing the NVMe drivers. So I put back my old SATA SSD into my laptop and booted into windows. I checked the device manager for installed drivers and sure enough there was no NVMe driver installed under disk controllers, only SATA driver. So I tried to install the Samsung NVMe driver before taking another image but it will not install the drivers unless a Samsung NVMe SSD is present.

I am now struck, I cannot install the NVMe driver unless the drive is installed but if I install the drive it will not let me boot into windows to install the driver! One thought was to purchase a NVMe external enclosure so I can connect the NVMe SSD via the USB3.1 port, this may then enable me to install the NVMe drivers before I cone the SATA SSD.

I did the same but from a 256 GB nvme SSD to a 1TB one.I used the 'create system recovery option' in Windows 7 backup (available in Windows 10/11), wrote it to an internally attached HDD.Replaced the SSD, booted from a recovery USB stick and restored the system image. The system gave a 'Unaccessible boot device' after initial boot, and system repair could not fix it, neither the manual bcd options through a dosprompt (windows 11 does not have the boot folder on the system disk, but on a separated hidden partition)I then booted in safe mode, did a CHKDSK /F and rebooted. It all worked, only the partitions where as small as on the original ssd. Used a 3rd party partition tool to move and enlarge the partitions. All works great now.

I tried several of the suggestions on this forum as my device would show in windows and bios but would not boot. The issue was my boot was set to legacy for storage and pci devices so changed to UEFI then had to convert the drive to GPT and finally booted my Evo 970, would have long given up without this thread ! Thanks everyone ?
