ENGLISH
Dear Paddlefriends, the organizing committee has set the dates for the next International Tiber Descent: from Saturday 24 April to Saturday 1 May 2027, from Città di Castello to Rome, by canoe, bike, and on foot.
For river routes, descents are done in groups. Each day there will be sections with class 1 and 2 passages. Some days also include class 3 passages. The recommended vessels are: river kayak, canadian canoe, sit on top, inflatable canoe, packraft, and stand-up paddleboard. Sea kayaks and frame kayaks are not recommended.
Shared dinners (very good dinners indeed!) and overnight stays (in closed spaces or, for those who prefer, in their own tent) will be provided.
Cars are brought daily to the end of the stage, thanks to the driver pickup service.
More detailed information on this event will be published in this group in the coming months.

DEUTSCH

ciao Hajo!
As usual, participants can decide (according to their needs and to the weather) to sleep indoors, or in their tents, campers, cars, etc.

Hello Andrea,
First I have to say thanks for your information!  I would like to take part at the Tiber descent a second time, after maybe ten years.

For that just one question:  Will it be possible to sleep in a small campervan?
Kindly
Hajo from Germany
