After a 4-year hiatus, the Adige Marathon, the most popular paddle event in Italy (usually a thousand participants), will be back on October 20, 2024. This year, it will feature the novelty of crossing the city of Verona, with its famous and beautiful bridges.
To be prepared for the event on a WW2-class stretch of river and under the eyes of thousands of spectators, the ASD DIT is again offering a river SUP course (river SUP) in the province of Verona in the days immediately preceding it. The course is aimed at open-water SUP practitioners, and beginners/intermediate of river waters. The setting of the Adige River, the surroundings and the base camp are very favorable and pleasant. The preparation will be particularly useful to be able to do the Descent of the Tiber MMXXV Iubilaeum in April/Mai 2025: an adventurous descent, without logistical support. But for the details of this there is still time ...
