Events this week- We need volunteers!!!

[STAND Mizzou]

Hey everyone, Big week ahead:

1. We need volunteers!!! for this Wednesday from 11 am- 2 pm for our
Die In. The Die In is a visual demonstration we'll do in Speaker's
Circle, in which participants will lie on the ground and hold posters
to symbolize those taken by the conflict in Darfur, and to raise
awareness. It sends a powerful message, and we need you guys to
participate in it. You can see pictures of the Die In Mizzou had 2

2. The Darfur Benefit Concert will be this Friday! at the Cherry
Street Artisan from 9 pm - 11pm. Featured bands will be Glass Cannon
and Javier Mendoza. There is a $3 suggested donation, and we'll be
selling tshirts and writing letters. Spread the word, bring your
friends and stop by!


3. We still need people to help us participate in the Jewish Students
Organization's Holocaust Rememberance Day. Participants will be
reading the names of those that passed in the Holocaust in Speaker's
Circle, and tabling for STAND.
