to STAND Mizzou: A Student Anti-Genocide Coalition
Hello,

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Darfur Benefit Concert this
past Friday to help raise money for the Genocide Intervention Network.

We'll be having our last (short) meeting tonight at 6:30 in Strickland
119 to discuss events for the fall semester, recruitment and
leadership positions.

We really really need people to fill in STAND leadership positions for
the 09-10 school year. It is a perfect way to get involved in the
direct planning of events and looks GREAT on resumes.
The application is open to everyone interested, even if you haven't
been able to make it to many meetings or events this semester. You can
find applications at
http://groups.google.com/group/standmizzou/web/stand-mizzou-leadership-positions-09-10.

Finally, check out this article about our U.S. Congress people people
demanding access of aid groups into Sudan and getting arrested for
their protest.
