Hi all, and happy new year!

With another year comes a fresh supply of public domain works to add to our existing short fiction collections. I've attempted to tally all the ones I can find, though it's harder to know for authors whose works are translated, like the many Russian authors we have.

For P. G. Wodehouse:
For H. P. Lovecraft:
For Robert E. Howard:
  • 'Wolfshead', Weird Tales April 1926
  • 'After the Game', Yellow Jacket October 1926 (Comedy story not really in line with the rest of the collection, and lacking scans online)
  • 'Sleeping Beauty', Yellow Jacket October 1926 (Comedy story)
  • 'Weekly Short Story', Yellow Jacket November 1926 (Comedy story)
Not too big of a crop this year. I've linked to scans for all the stories I could find, but transcriptions might be a little less forthcoming (though Lovecraft should be easy enough to find).

Thanks,
~Mike

I’ll take care of the Wodehouse. Transcriptions are easy to find if you are willing to check them back against the scans.

I was avoiding doing Wolfshead as it’s REH at his most frothingly racist (and he’s never particularly great in that area). I’ve got plenty of other projects on so I’m happy if anyone else wants to take it.

Is anyone interested in working on the Lovecraft ones?

Yea I can pick up the Lovecraft ones.

I'm probably going to be a bit busier in the upcoming months so after I add these Lovecraft stories I might do another Short Fiction by a pulp scifi author and work intermittently on that. I'm looking at Pohl right now but I might change my mind.

I'm sure it's already the plan, but could people please reply to this thread when the updated collections are published? For short story collections, I'm adding links to the volume to every short story's wiki page that exists, and updated books don't get automatically added to the tracking system I use for all other releases.

I've gone ahead and added all four of the Robert E Howard stories. All
of them were very short. The "comedy" ones are actually college-era
juvenalia for a school paper.
