Erin Endrei, who has been writing our excellent newsletter for some
time, is going to take a break for a while. I'd like to keep the
newsletter going, and I think this is a good opportunity to expand on
the idea of a journal dedicated to public domain literature that I
shared with the list earlier.

But before we get started developing that, I need help compiling a list
of potential contributors.

Would anyone be interested in volunteering to help work on a spreadsheet
of writers who specialize in public domain era literature? This list
would include things like name, website, email address, link to an
example article, etc.

Possible sources are writers for Public Domain Review, any literary
journal - major like London Review of Books, LA Review of Books, New
Criterion, or minor like any university press journal - university
graduate departments, literary blogs, etc. Anyone is fair game if you
think they'd write something interesting about something in our catalog.

I think it's a great idea. I'm on vacation until the 6th, but when I get back I could help with this. I'm assuming this would be a collaborative list and others would be allowed/encouraged to participate?

Do you have a template already set up?

I've enjoyed Erin's articles enormously! Lots of work in there, and the break (hopefully only that!) is well deserved.

I've got some ideas for contributors to a PD Lit journal, too. It would be great to see this progress as 2026 settles in!

Great! I started a spreadsheet that you both can contribute to and
invited you both as editors.

Basically only the Name field is required, everything else is optional
but extremely useful. I especially would like at least an email or
website contact form I can use to contact the writer, so that I don't
have to dig around to find out how to reach them.

If anyone else wants to contribute, let me know and I can give you
access to the spreadsheet.
