[Alex Cabal]

David Grigg, one of our most prolific and talented contributors, will be
stepping down from his role as editor after several years of top-notch
work.

David has worked tirelessly to produce ebooks, develop the SE toolset,
and also manage and review books too, all in his spare time. He was one
of the earliest contributors to the project and his input shaped much of
our process. Join me in thanking him as he moves on to other adventures!

Taking his place is Lukas Bystricky, a long-time contributor who has
worked on more than a few high-quality ebook productions. Lukas will
join the editor team in managing and reviewing new ebooks. Welcome Lukas!

Well—*blush*—thanks to everyone for their very kind thoughts. And congratulations to Lucas, who I’m sure will do a great job.

But I’m not dying, I’ll still be around, and still hope to keep producing titles of my own for Standard Ebooks (including one day completing Boswell’s Life of Samuel Johnson LLD!), albeit at a slower rate.

My particular thanks to Alex, whose establishment and continued guidance of the Standard Ebooks project are truly an inspiration, and who has guided many of us from our first fumbling efforts (you should have seen the things I got wrong with my first SE production!) to being fully-fledged producers and even members of the editorial team.

I’ve learned a huge amount from being part of the project, and grown to consider you all to be my friends.

Three cheers for Standard Ebooks, and long may it reign!

A bit late but thank you David for your help and kindness. Your familiarity with E. Nesbit’s works was helpful when I worked on the Psammead trilogy, particularly for finding a cover for the third book.
