Errors fond in text

I have just read Standard Ebook's version of <a href="https://standardebooks.org/ebooks/maurice-leblanc/the-extraordinary-adventures-of-arsene-lupin-gentleman-burglar/george-morehead">standardebooks.org/ebooks/maurice-leblanc/the-extraordinary-adventures-of-arsene-lupin-gentleman-burglar/george-morehead</a> and have found the following errors in the text.


Chapter 4: 'my response was' should read 'my repose was'

Chapter 5: 'added luster to' should read 'added lustre to'

Chapter 5: 'schemes of and inventions' should read 'schemes and inventions'

Chapter 6: 'I led the men to' should read 'I led them to'

Chapter 8: '“Perhaps it is someone for the doctor,” muttered her husband.' should read '
 “Perhaps it is someone for the doctor,” muttered her husband.
 At that moment a voice inquired: “Doctor Harel … what floor?”'

Chapter 8: 'the Assizecourt was' should read 'the Assize-court was'


I have confirmed these with the scans at HathiTrust.

Thanks for the detailed corrections. I’ve pushed all of them (along with an additional “to” in the schemes sentence in chapter 5 that was missing) to the repository and the book should regenerate soon.
