Hello,

I was working on submitting a PR to correct typos for Wired Love, but these corrections changed the word count, so I was trying to update the word count in content.opf as part of my PR. However, I'm having a heck of a time getting the proper word count.

The SEMoS says, "The <meta property="se:word-count"> element contains an integer representing the ebook’s total word count, excluding some SE files like the colophon and Uncopyright." I tried excluding various SE files (colophon, uncopyright, etc.) when running "se word-count', but se lint still flags the number as incorrect.

Here is the list of text files in the ebook. What do I need to exclude to get a proper word count from "se word-count"?

Thanks,

Devin

I’m not sure you need to worry about it; Alex normally takes care of that a few times a year, as it’s quite common for books to get out of sync with changes to the tools.

But se wordcount -x is what is used.

OK, then, I submitted the PR.

Thanks,
