Hi Alex and company,

I'd like to try Saragossa for a first project.

I see a couple of previous attempts here and here which appear to be abandoned. If you're not ready to declare them abandoned yet, I'm happy to pick a different project.

All the best.

Great, that one would be a good start. You can work on it, as the past
attempts were abandoned.

See those previous threads for special notes about this ebook before you
begin.

Make sure to read the Standard Ebooks Manual of Style before starting,
as you won't know what to fix if you haven't read the standards. In
particular, please closely review the semantics, high level patterns,
and typography sections:

https://standardebooks.org/manual

https://standardebooks.org/manual/latest/4-semantics

https://standardebooks.org/manual/latest/7-high-level-structural-patterns

https://standardebooks.org/manual/latest/8-typography

The step by step guide will take you from start to finish. Please follow
it exactly:

https://standardebooks.org/contribute/producing-an-ebook-step-by-step

This page on common issues in older books may be useful:

https://standardebooks.org/contribute/how-tos/common-issues-when-working-on-public-domain-ebooks

Please email often if you have any questions at all. Our standards are
well-established so there is probably already a standard for formatting
whatever problem you've encountered.

When you're ready, email back with a link to your Github repository so
that I can assign you a manager and reviewer.

Have fun! :)

Ok, noted.

A question for you about semantic annotations:

This book has a lot characters referred to as "Don", as an honorific/title ("Don Roque", "Don José", etc.).

I saw that `semanticate` added some annotation to this book's occurrences of "Mr." -- specifically, it added `<abbr epub:type="z3998:name-title">`.

Do "Don" and "Doña" need any sort of similar annotation? Or are they fine to stay unannotated, since "Don" is neither an abbreviation, nor a non-English word according to the test of presence in Merriam-Webster?

Thanks!

Another question.

Is there an appropriate inflection to apply to "Ego te absolvo" in the sentence below? It's being used here as the name of a particular blessing, but I don't see anything that quite fits that usage in any of the vocabularies.

```
Then after murmuring the prayer appropriate to the occasion, he blessed me, and pronounced the <i xml:lang="la">Ego te absolvo</i>, and then lay down upon the ground.
```

Correct, language is all it needs.

Don doesn’t need anything, either; as you noted, it’s the abbreviation that’s getting a semantic, not the word itself, i.e. we don’t do anything for Mister, etc.
