Art for the DB?

I would like to suggest Arrival of a New Governess in a Merchant House by Vasily Perov with an image found in this book on this page.

What are the links mentioned in the following from the 

SE website:

Help us catalog fine art paintings from scans of old art books. We have links to complete book scans that you can browse, and we need your help to catalog the art in each book for use as cover art in future ebooks.

If you want to take it up as a larger project, I suggest submitting some
more artwork items to the mailing list first to confirm you understand
how the process works and the various gotchas that can happen when
finding PD proof for artwork.

I suggest The Brazen Serpent with PD. I don't know if this is desired but I made a mock up of the image too.

I don't think those are exactly the same. If you compare the details in the PD proof with the details in the painting, you'll notice that they are not one for one. The PD proof you gave corresponds to this sketch and not to the final painting.
