I'm going to be travelling in the near future, so looking for a little light reading....
Looks pretty straightforward. The structure is interesting ("Parts" go back and forth between 1st and 3rd person narration).

Hope this looks okay to be getting on with!

Almost unbelievably, I have a cover option to check out, Vince. If it works, it would super!

The novel takes place around Scapa Flow, Orkney, during WW1, with submarine action central to the plot.

Searching for that, I ran across W. L. Wyllie, noted for his maritime/naval paintings, including Scapa. But! He also painted this WW1 sub...
...for which I found "PD proof" (1918): image page | title page. And the cover would look like this:

IF it passes muster, I could probably use some Gigapixel help on the source image. What do you think? I live in hope....

Hah, I’m reading Churchill’s The World Crisis series on WWI, so Scapa Flow has been a constant topic. I’ve always liked the name “Scapa Flow" for some reason…

Perfect picture(!), PD proof looks good, I’ll upload it to the DB.

Remarkable serendipity! :) I'm glad it works — it seemed too good to be true.....

I managed to find a few minutes on WiFi during my travels to finish this off. Fun read. :)

No particular "producer's notes" on this one, Weijia - ready for your review whenever you're ready for it. (There may be delays in my replies....) Thanks!
