the stenciled words, “Strong, Bulbul &
Co., Now York.” -> New York
Side note: the PG transcript has "& Co." Scan always has "and Co." Many occurrences throughout.
chap 5: ...Samarkand, Tashkend, Kachgar...
This is the only spelling as Tashkend; it is Tachkend everywhere else. Editorial fix for consistency? Text matches the scan.
chap 10: Amu-Daria, 2 occurrences; all other occurrences say Amou-Daria. In the scan it is always Amou-Daria.
