I’m thinking that as a longer-term (but not very complicated!) project I might try to fill in the works of Charles Dickens still missing from our catalog.

I know that I semi-abandoned Our Mutual Friend, though I now plan to go back to that eventually. But I thought that a more enjoyable work to start with would be Dickens’ Nicholas Nickleby

I’ll drop all the illustrations, obviously.

Is that OK?

Question already:

The PG transcription includes an "Author's Preface" which appears to be the text in the scans headed "Preface to the First Cheap Edition". But the scans also includes a "Preface to the First Edition", and prior to that, some a very entertaining "Proclamation" signed "Boz" (Dickens' early nom-de-plume) attacking piracy of his works.

Do we want these included in our edition? I would vote "yes".

Prefaces yes, proclamations no.

Lukas can you manage this with Emma reviewing?
