Here are some things that caught my eye while reading Hester.

things are going wrong with Vernons⁠—that the bank

→ things are going wrong with Vernon's⁠—that the bank

In the scan it says Vernons', but as far as I can tell this is about the bank, and normally the bank is called Vernon's.

the girl’s relaxed and drooping figured

→ the girl’s relaxed and drooping figure

Mr. Vernon Mildmay

→ Mr. Mildmay Vernon

It's like this in the scan, but Mildmay is his first name, and I'm pretty sure on all other occasions he's referred to as Mr. Mildmay Vernon. Please let me know if I am missing something.
