I finished proofreading Waverley and would like to a small break from it before applying the necessary fixes. As such, I would like to produce a collection of short fiction by Charles Beaumont.  According to my research, only three of his stories are believed to be in the Public Domain, so it will be a short book.

Artwork for these kind of productions is always an issue, so I think an abstract painting might be suitable, I'm thinking Movement by Marsden Hartley could work.

The links for the scans and transcriptions are in the spreadsheet. Can I work on it?

Sure, you can work on that. Please send a link to your repo once you start.

A few questions:

Regarding The Beautiful People (pages 13 and 14):

There is a letter in this story, and I'm not sure how to properly format it:

1 - The whole letter is in italics. Do you think I should remove it or keep it? If it should be kept I assume that the whole <blockquote> should be select in the CSS, instead of having <i> in individual elements. Do you agree?

2 - There are two instances of dates, with only the last two digits of the year. How would the <time> element be written?

3 - There are two instances of a single letter been used to refer to a unit/department (Dept F). I'm not sure what the semantics should be here, maybe graphemes?

4 - In Elegy (page 115) there is another instance of a single letter followed by an subscript (K7). Should this also be a grapheme or something else?
