OK, Lukas will manage with Weijia reviewing.

We want to keep the illustrations, see the manual for how to format
them. The antlers illustration look like they'll be suitable for SVG
conversion.

If you find a higher res scan of the frontispiece then it might be
suitable for a cover. If so then don't include it in the book body.

Lukas will manage with Weijia reviewing.

This is really the only other scan of it I could find. Looks to be a bit higher quality and is pulled from the Internet Archive scan.

That will probably work if you run a blur filter over it to try to get
rid of some of the paper grain

For the illustrations, should I download them from the Gutenberg page and then move them into the images folder? The only images created after running the create draft command are for the cover.

Correct. You should find the highest res scans possible, which are
almost never from the PG edition; you can also try downloading the
actual page scans at max resolution and extracting the images from there.

Sounds good. Thank you!

So I just realized I made a typo with the book's title. It should be "A Book-Lover's Holidays in the Open" (I didn't make holiday plural). Is this something I can fix on my end (changing the content.opf page, folder and repo name, etc.)?

You can edit the title manually in the content, colophon. You'll also need a new titlepage. The easiest way I know to get this is to create a new dummy project from scratch and copy images/titlepage.svg and src/epub/images/titlepage.svg from the dummy project into the actual project. You can change the repo name on Github if you want, but it's not necessary.

The current version of build-images rebuilds the cover/titlepage SVGs
using the title/author in the metadata. So creating a new draft isn't as
necessary as before, just change the metadata, titlepage text (different
than the SVG), and colophon then run `se build-images`.

And src/epub/text/titlepage.xhtml. And the SE ids in metadata and colophon as well.

Thanks for all of your help. The typo should be fixed now.

I've just started formatting the appendices and in Appendix A there's a deposition said by Roosevelt. Should I format it like a letter but leave out the letter semantic inflection?

This is what it looks like in the Gutenberg version:

Correct, it's not a letter per se, just a document, so you can format it
to match the appearance but letter-related semantics like dateline or
sender are not relevant.
