I was looking on ArtUK for potential cover art and found this Kandinsky listed as CC0. The linked museum though seemed to have fairly strict copyright and redistribution rules though. I ended up pinging ArtUK’s Rights contact to see what was going on, and they pointed me at the new Museum Wales images site that has the same CC0 designation: https://images.museumwales.ac.uk/view-item?i=167376.
I’ve had a quick poke around in https://images.museumwales.ac.uk/ and it seems like all the art I can find is CC0 licensed; some of the photos are CC-by-SA 4.0 though. Shall we add this as a potential source_
