OK sure. Please send a link to your repo.

For the cover, instead of cropping out the tears I suggest you fill them
in with background color. That way we can include the full size cover
instead of cropping it.

I was able to crop it more or less the way you suggested and restored the tears with the background color. Afterwords, I tried using Gemini to smooth out the colors and fix the smaller cracks that I wouldn't be able to do manually. Do you think it is better with or without the Gemini postprocessing? I could see it going either way.

The red color from the Gemini remaster felt a little off so I also created my own tweaked version.

OK, Robin will manage with David reviewing.

I think the smoothed version looks fine!

If a term is in the glossary but doesn't appear in the book, do we still put it into the search key map file? Not sure how to interpret https://standardebooks.org/manual/1.8.7/7-high-level-structural-patterns#7.11.1.2 in this case.

Why would someone include a word in a glossary if the word doesn't
appear anywhere in the book?

I have no idea, but the book ends with an "Introduction to Contemporary Harlemese," and the first entry, "ain't got 'em," doesn't seem to show up anywhere in the book. It seems like several of the entries are like that. My sense is that the author wanted people to have a sense of Harlem slang in general even if not all of the terms are used in the book.

OK, well then they shouldn't be in the search key map file. That file
exists to map keys to instances in the book for search purposes, and if
it doesn't occur in the book, then there's no point in having it in the
key file.
