The PG transcription modernized all of the dialogue by quoting and splitting into paragraphs. All of the editions on IA (including a borrow-able 1967 Oxford University Press edition) retain the original multiple speakers per paragraph, split by em-dashes (example). I assume it's okay to keep this modernization given they already went through the effort?
