That's definitely one option. I actually prefer Æ; as Vince pointed out it's short for Æon and I used Æ in the long description. The only reason I didn't make that change in the text is because Russell himself signed the dedication as A. E. so I thought that going with what he preferred was the safest route. I'm happy to change that though.
