Since I won't be able to work on Robin Hood for a while, I'm thinking of producing 'Midst the Wild Carpathians, by Mór Jókai.

Before I start the repo, how do you think his name should be spelled? The preferred form seems to be Mór Jókai, but there are several variations of his given name (this translation, for instance, has Maurus Jókai). Both LoC and Wikipedia use Mór, so that's the one I would use. Another question is that Hungarian names seem to be written as surname + given name, similar to Japanese names, so this would make the author Jókai Mór. How do you think I should proceed regarding the name?

This novel was also translated as The Golden Age in Transylvania, which I think should be an alt title in the metadata. This edition was translated by R. Nisbet Bain, a respected translator who also translated other works by Jókai. This translation seems to have been authorized by Jókai himself, so I would prefer it.

Another novel, The Slaves of the Padishah is a sequel to this novel, and so I think there should be a collection containing the two.

There are no obvious choices for the cover, so I'll keep looking, but I might end using a painting of a mountain, to evoke the setting of the novel (the Carpathians).

OK sure. All of that sounds fine. Name should be in Western order like
Wikipedia. Send a repo once you start

I realized I accidentally pasted the wrong link for the scans in the first post; this is the correct one.

For the cover, unless I find a better match (hopefully representing era-appropriate people), I'm thinking of using this painting. There are other paintings of mountains in our database, but this is the best one for representing the Carpathians mountains, I believe. Do you think this is appropriate or should I keep looking?
